I'm dedicating this post to Lincoln's crazy tornado ways. This kid is keeping me on my toes!!! He's done stuff that no other child before him has attempted (possibly thought about).
Last week on Wednesday he set the oven on FIRE! Who would of thought that Play-Doh was flammable? After dinner I put a couple of casserole dishes in the oven to bake while I was getting the kids ready for bed. When I went upstairs I realized it was filling up with smoke and there was a horrible chemical smell that was burning my lungs. I opened up the oven and there were big flames. I was able to get it out and Maddy started crying that was her toy egg. Later I found out it was Play-Doh shaped into an egg. I would of used the fire extinguisher BUT I still haven't replaced it since I used it in January for demonstration purposes in the house (which is a VERY bad idea, FYI!). So that was Wednesday....
Saturday I'm in the office working on some school work and in the living room Maddy and Jack are playing Wii, Caleb is reading a book, and Lincoln is just laying in the couch watching the kids. Out of no where Caleb starts screaming for me in a voice I'd never heard before. I can tell he's scared. I run to the living room and Lincoln had taken a poop in his diaper, taken it off, picked up his poop (gag!!!!!) and was threatening to throw it at Caleb. (WHERE DOES HE COME UP WITH THIS?!!!!!) He was laughing until he saw my face, I was not entertained.
So, because most of this stuff is not funny now I know that this will be hilarious when we reminisce about old times by reading the family blog someday- especially to Lincoln's future wife to let her know what a future Lincoln mini-me might be like.
There's no perfect one way to be a good mother...

Future IFBB Fitness Pro Kali
Kali really is into her fitness elements right now and it's hard to have a conversation with her bc she does hand stands in between thoughts or the splits. I watch her walking around the house practicing. I'm happy that she found a talent she is really good at. I was folding laundry the other day and she walked in front of me and said, " is this a good presentation pose?" It takes grown women months to perfect theirs and she just busts era out with no instruction. She must be watching me a lot.

Aaron's birthday bash
At Aaron's request we pigged out at the famous Moose's Tooth for his birthday. Eating out is always expensive with a large family but these boys are really starting to put the food away. Wow. I might have to get a job just to bring pay for more groceries. Ha ha.
Of course all night I had to remind Aaron that we are now the same age.

Preschool Park day
Today was the Family Park day for Jackson's preschool to celebrate summer starting. It was a steamy 39 degrees...in MAY!!!! We made the best of it though.

Fit for a king
Kali opened a new box of diapers for me tonight and somehow the box ended up being a throne for Fat Baby. That kid is so lucky and loved!

Beauty and the Beast
Aaron surprised the girls and I to tickets to watch Beauty and the Beast. It was so good! By far the best musical that I've ever been to beating out the Nutcracker, Chicago, and The Blue Man Group! I'm so happy that this was Maddy's first show to watch. Both girl's were mesmerized the whole time.

Mom wins!!!
This winter season we are on Madeline's fourth (4th!!!!!) pair of winter gloves. Somehow they magically disappear and I'm getting really frustrated. And in Alaska you can't do any "tough love" lessons because she really likes having 10 fingers. Sooooooo, I had a couple of minutes tonight and sewed this pair to her jacket. I count that as a huge MOM WIN!!!!

Fit for a King
Jack thought the only reasonable way to watch tv the other night was to sit on all the couch cushions. When I started laughing he looked at me all serious like he was confused as to what was funny.
Another crazy ap
My kids have been going crazy with this ap. It cracks me up but absolutely terrifies Lincoln when you show him pictures of animal people.
The Apple Store
Out kids live to go to the mall just to play in this store. I dont get it! When we go out I usually have three iPhones in my purse AND an IPad. I'd think they would be excited to just play our stuff but nope. They have to play in the Apple store. They must get it from their dad...

Thanks Black Eye Peas for your catchy beats! Sorry we messed up your
